Erykah Badu’s Naked Video makes # 4 on Sales Chart
While most don’t know the full story on Erykah Badu’s nude video, it seems like the promotional gimmick worked. “Window Seat” here first single from the new CD was originally a studio recorded video that the networks failed to play. Badu then recorded an impromptu video stripping naked in broad daylight that caught the attention of You Tube and network news. The second video was shot on a inexpensive Flip cam and some called it “art”.
Of course Viacom’s VH1 has decided to play the strip version. Erykah came in number 4 this week on the sales charts after all the hoopla.
